Genome of probiotic Bacillus subtilis Eramic25 published in Microbiology Resource Announcements

On 9 October 2025, Microbiology Resource Announcements (American Society for Microbiology), volume 14, issue 10, published a genome report of a probiotic Bacillus subtilis strain isolated from healthy human faeces in Vietnam. Binh Ba Ngo (listed as Ngo Ba Binh) is one of eleven authors, with his contribution recorded as project administration and supervision; the first author is Le Thi Hoi of Hanoi Medical University.

The report describes the draft genome of strain Eramic25, isolated in 2022 from a healthy volunteer in Hanoi. Sequenced on the Illumina MiSeq platform, the 3,855,385 bp genome has a GC content of 43.53% and 4,247 predicted protein-coding sequences, and lacks the major Bacillus toxin genes.
