On 9 February 2022, Genetic Testing Service JSC (GENTIS), a Hanoi genetic testing company, announced that it had joined the Eurofins Scientific group. Eurofins announced the same day that its subsidiary Eurofins Clinical Testing Lux Sarl had acquired GENTIS, describing it as a pioneer in genetic testing in Vietnam that provides obstetric genetics, genealogical DNA, oncology and COVID-19 testing to more than 100 hospitals.
At the ceremony a new Board of Directors was elected. Mr Nguyễn Nam Thanh was elected Chairman, and the other members named were Mr Đỗ Mạnh Hà, Mr Hoàng Đức Hùng, Mr Ngô Bá Bình and Ms Jessica Chua, as reported by Sức Khỏe & Đời Sống, the newspaper of Vietnam's Ministry of Health.
